The Nike Book 1 is inspired by the life journey Phoenix Suns star guard Devin Booker, with a barcode that features numbers of importance in Booker’s life such as the zip codes of Grand Rapids and Phoenix. Other personal details includes his initials on the tongue tags, and this birth year “96”on the rear heel tab, which are meant to bear a resemblance to the pages of a book. The book-inspired aesthetic continues to the rear heel, that reads “Chapter One” , which is linked to the spines of books.
This iteration of the Book 1 sports a combination fabric and nubuck light reword brown upper. Large Swooshe adorn the lateral and medial sides with sesame brown present at the colllat and inner/ The tongue tags reads “Book 1”
Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a midsole that houses heel Zoom Air cushioning and a translucent rubber outsole.
The “Mirage” Nike Book 1 is currently available , unfortunately, on the SNKRS application, as well as other retail venues; they will carry a 140 USD sticker price.
